Lead times are short. A handyman or an air-conditioning technician will normally attend within one to two days, and same-day emergency callout is widely offered at a premium. Pool and garden contracts start on the next scheduled round, so a Monday enquiry often means a Wednesday first visit.

The climate sets the frequency, not preference. Pools need weekly attention year-round and twice-weekly through the rainy season, split air-conditioning units need a filter and coil clean every three months near the coast, and gardens go from tidy to overgrown in a fortnight of rain.
