Renting
Most long-term Bali rentals are quoted per year and paid in full at the start, sometimes for two years. Monthly terms exist, cost noticeably more per month, and are concentrated in apartments and in the quieter areas. Filter by period rather than assuming.
What the figure includes varies enormously. Electricity is usually excluded and can be a large bill if the property is air-conditioned. Pool and garden maintenance, staff, internet and rubbish collection may or may not be in the price. Ask for the list before you negotiate the number.
