Badges describe evidence, not quality
A verification badge means we checked a specific document or fact. It is not an endorsement of the property, the price or the seller's judgement, and it is deliberately narrow so that it stays meaningful.
The levels on a listing
Each verifiable fact on a listing carries its own level, shown next to the fact itself.
- Not provided — the seller left it blank.
- Seller-provided — stated by the seller, unverified by us.
- Document uploaded — a supporting document exists but has not been reviewed.
- Under review — our team is checking it now.
- Verified — a reviewer has seen a document supporting the stated fact.
What earns a verified listing badge
The listing-level badge requires the key facts for that category to reach verified: for property, the certificate type and the stated term; for vehicles, the registration documents matching the vehicle.
Badges expire and can be removed
Verification is tied to the document we saw. Editing a verified fact drops it back to seller-provided until it is checked again, and document-based badges lapse when the underlying document does.
If you think a badge is wrong
Report the listing with the specific fact you are disputing. Verification reports are prioritised over general reports because a wrong badge is worse than no badge.
