Minimum standards

Photos must be of the actual item or property being listed, taken recently enough to reflect its current condition.

  • At least four photos for property and vehicles; one is enough for small goods.
  • Landscape orientation for the cover image, at least 1200 pixels wide.
  • No watermarks other than your own storefront mark, and no contact details burned into the image.
  • No stock photography, developer renders passed off as built, or images taken from another listing.

A shot order that works

Buyers scroll in order, so front-load the images that answer the biggest questions.

  • Cover: the whole property from outside, in daylight.
  • Then: living space, kitchen, main bedroom, bathroom.
  • Then: pool and garden, showing the actual boundary rather than a crop.
  • Last: the access road and the parking area.

Renders and plans

Off-plan listings may use renders, but they must be captioned as renders and the listing must state that the property is not yet built. Floor plans upload as a separate media type so they stay out of the main gallery.

Common rejection reasons

The most frequent are watermarked agency photos reused without permission, phone numbers written across the image, and a cover photo that shows a different property from the rest of the set.
